Blood testing, urinalysis, radiographs, ultrasound, and endoscopy can help screen for many diseases of the internal organs such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal gland disease, immune mediated disease, gastrointestinal disorders, liver disease, kidney disease and cancer.
Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet’s teeth. Poor oral care leads to devastating disease processes in the mouth as well as other parts of the body such as the liver, kidneys and heart. Many people do not realize how important dental care is for their pets until they have a serious problem.
We are happy to offer in-hospital grooming to our clients. Trinity Pet Hospital clients can conveniently combine routine health checks with grooming on the same day. We offer a dedicated grooming room in our hospital especially for our grooming clients. Our groomers are here Monday through Friday.
We offer a wide range of boarding facilities from specialty cat condos to spacious dog runs. At Trinity Pet Hospital, we strive to make your furry friends' stay here as close to home as possible. We encourage you to bring any comforts from home that you wish your pets to have with them.
Regularly scheduled wellness exams with Dr. Keating are one of the most important preventative health measures you can provide for your pet.
Diagnostic imaging has become an invaluable tool in treating animals. X-rays reveal what cannot be seen on an external examination, providing detailed insight and a path to more effective treatment for your pet.
We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet.
Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. At Trinity Pet Hospital, we know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.
Nutrition is one of the most important factors in maintaining the good health of your pet. Proper nutrients are necessary for every organ system in the body to function properly. Nutritional deficiencies, as well as excesses, are a major problem in veterinary medicine.
Trinity Pet Hospital uses veterinary ultrasound as a safe, non-invasive, and painless way to examine and diagnose some illnesses in your pet.
Annual parasite checks are very important for your family’s health, and are highly recommended by the CDC (Center for Disease Control). The parasite check requires a small sample of feces from your pet, and results are often back the same day.
Heartworms are easily spread by mosquitoes (who can infect your pet with one bite!), and heartworm disease is devastating to those pets who acquire it. The heartworm test that we use at Trinity Pet Hospital is performed by Idexx Laboratories. In case of a positive result, they will duplicate the test to verify the result and insure that a false positive result does not occur.
Feline leukemia is transmitted between cats through saliva, mucus, urine, feces and blood. Any mutual grooming, fighting or sharing food and water dishes leaves your cat vulnerable to the devastating effects of feline leukemia. Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) infection is responsible for more deaths among cats than any other infectious disease.
